I’ve had my 49 Square Miles wallet for almost a year now. It is by far the most expensive wallet I’ve ever owned, but it was absolutely worth it:
1) I swear this thing’s bullet proof – It’s been through a flood, run over by my car (one of those “I left it on my roof” incidents), and yet it’s not breaking down. Everything is still as functional as the day I got it, unlike other wallets I’ve destroyed in the past…
2) It’s beautiful – It started out as a light shade of soft brown, but through daily use (and those few extreme circumstances) it’s turned into a deep brown with beautiful patina.
3) Perfect for organizing – I’ve never seen a wallet with so many pockets. There are credit card and cash slots on both sides of the interior, as well as zipper pockets. It’s perfect if you’re a compulsive organizer, like myself, or have a need to keep accounts separated (business on one side, personal on the other).
Anyways it’s amazing, and if you happen to be a lucky owner of one, you know exactly what I’m talking about.

I am in love. I am a proud owner. I, in fact, thought that you borrowed my wallet to photograph, as it looks identically patina-ed. My only purchasing regret was the introduction of color. The green one was fantastic. I use this wallet as a clutch when I travel and if you don’t stuff it full of cash and cards, it can hold a tube of lip color just fine.
Oh, I am so glad to read your review because I’ve been agonizing over whether to buy this wallet, which I like in the grey color… Based on your recommendation, I think I’m going to take the plunge! Thanks!

Love the Clingy! I have 4! I started with the calf hair one, then the plum, light brown and now spring green. I haven’t even used the plum or green ones yet as I am so hooked on the light brown. Pink is next, once I get two dimes to rub together again. Sad having gorgeous wallets with nothing to put in them!
i met a woman who had this wallet…her’s was pink and to die for…I went on-line and purchased
the wallet in elephant…kind of green/gray…with pink stitching…i can get all my stuff in it including a lip pencil, lipstick and a tube concealer…i don’t usually carry a purse so my wallet has weathered to a rich dark gray…spend the money and get one…these wallets are well worth the money
